About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a consulting assignment in the development of two-stroke engines. The role involves design and optimization of cylinders and pistons, as well as rotating systems. You will work with both 3D modeling and technical drawings and contribute to the improvement of products and processes.

Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D models and drawings for components
Interpret simulation results and use them as a basis for design improvements
Conduct tolerance studies and analyze material properties
Maintain and further develop products with a focus on cost and quality improvements
Participate in technical discussions and design reviews

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Good knowledge of Catia V5
Technical knowledge of engines and engine-related components
Experience working with components in steel or aluminum, as well as knowledge in casting, forging, machining, or sintering
Preferred: experience with PLM tools such as Smartteam or Teamcenter

Other

Interviews are ongoing, and the assignment may be filled before the application deadline. For this assignment, direct employment is preferred; subcontractors may be accepted only in special cases.
